Abstract

This study aimed to increase student achievement in science learning material by applying sound Jigsaw model of cooperative methods in class VIIIA of SMP Negeri 2 Kwadungan school year 2013/2014 . Research using classroom action research ( PTK ) includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research instrument used syllabus, lesson plans, student activity sheets, observation sheets, and test. Data retrieval learning achievement tests and observations were performed every cycle . The results showed that students mastery of classical first cycle of 60 % , 87.5 % second cycle. show enthusiastic learn. Observations show their courage students to ask and answer questions discussion. The results showed that sound science learning material with the application of Jigsaw model of cooperative methods can improve student achievement . Abstract

Quality of the river water Gandong using bio-indicators of macroinvertebrates and utilize the results of this study to be used as the building blocks of practical guidance on the subject of environmental pollution junior class VII. The study was conducted in River Gandong Village. Ringinagung, Kab. Mabopane divided into 3 stations. Data obtained from direct observations in the field and laboratory tests. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach that gives an overview of water quality Gandong River. Data were analyzed after identifying the calculating method Family Biotic Index (FBI) based on tolerance index macroinvertebrates.The results of measurements of physical and chemical parameters, such as temperature for each station in the range of 25 ° C-26, turbidity range 27-30 cm, the pH range 7, the current speed 0,16-0,29 m / s, DO 5,8-6 , 1 mg / L. Station II data has physical and chemical parameters lowest, but some aquatic biota able to survive despite the type and the amount is not much in the station I and III. As for the calculation of the FBI, the station I have the 6.39, 6.99 II station, and the station III 6.82. Water quality station I quite bad, but the quality of the station II and III declined to poor interpretation of the FBI. Family macroinvertebrates are most commonly found in every station is family Thiaridae and Physidae. The results of this study can be used as the building blocks of practical instructions Chapter Pollution Junior Class VII entitled "Observing types of animals macroinvertebrates in the river". Abstract

Implementation of biology learning in SMPN 1 Geneng Ngawi using lecture method. so that student learning outcomes are still low. Results of preliminary observations of student activity to formulate the problem, formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, collect data, draw conclusions have not been reached indicators ketercapaian.Tujuan research to improve student learning outcomes VIIIA grade SMP Negeri 1 Geneng Ngawi. Research methods using action research, research subjects 40 students VIIIA. Collecting data using achievement test, observation of activities of students and teachers in learning. The study was conducted in two cycles. The results showed an increase in learning outcomes of the first cycle to the second cycle, 33% formulate problems, formulate hipotesis13%, experiment 15%, 20% collect data, draw conclusions 7.5%. Data student activity increased by 14%. Data activities of teachers increased by 15%. The conclusion of this research inquiry into the use of cooperative learning strategies can improve learning outcomes biology VIIIA grade students of SMPN 1 Geneng Ngawi with have significancy level. Abstract

The purpose of this action research is to improve the competence learning material digestive systeForests cover a lot of land vegetation, tropical rainforest is one of them, a lot of diversity tumbuahn that inhabit tropical rain forests. Perhutani forest BKPH Sub Kedunggalar, Sonde and Natah an extensive teak forests, plant species which inhabit such pembelit plants, climbing atapun adhesive (epiphytes). Identification is performed to determine the type of epiphytic plants, morphological and anatomical stem, and diversity of epiphytic plants.This qualitative study using field exploration methods, by conducting observation and identification of the morphological and anatomical stem seen from the file type transporters (xylem and phloem) in Pteridophyta and Spermatophyta in Sub BKPH Kedunggalar, Sonde and Natah. Sources of data in the form of primary data that is the result of the identification of epiphytic plants. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation, then be making the herbarium at each epiphytic plant species were found. Analysis of the data used by seebagai following stages: Data Accumulation (Collection of Data), Data Reduction (Reduction of Data), Data Display (Presentation of Data), and conclution darwing (Withdrawal Conclusion).Epiphytic plants found 3 Sub BKPH the 5 species were divided into 2 families (Polypodiaceae and Orchidaceae) 4 genus (Drynaria, Cyclophorus, Dendrobium, and Cymbidium); Family Polypodiaceae; 2 genus is Drynaria, Cyclophorus; Drynaria species querchifdia J. Sm, Cyclophorus lanceolatus. Family Orchidaceae, which consists of 2 genera Dendrobium, Cymbidium; Dendrobium species crumenatum, bifalce Dendrobium, and Cymbidium finlaysmanum. Abstract

Implementation of Vocational Education in Madiun 17-2 YP use the lecture method, so that the activity asks students less. The aim of research to improve the ability to ask students in learning science. Qualitative research approach used classroom action research (PTK), which consists of two cycles. The subjects included 23 students, collecting data using observation sheets to determine the ability to ask, student activities, and the quality of learning. The research result an increase in the ability to ask the first cycle of 50%, 69.56% second cycle. Student activity 62% cycle I Cycle II 73.91%, active criteria. Abstract

Research to determine the effectiveness of the extract against diseases curly terms of cure rates and yields of crops cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens l.) In Kedung Padang District of Rejoso Nganjuk. Target outcomes in the form of (1) Product insecticide mahogany seed, (2). Increased yields cayenne pepper. (3). Decrease the use of chemical insecticide. The results are used by farmers as subtitutor sidabas or other insecticides. The study used an experimental method with randomized block design Randomized Complete Block Design or (RCBD) which consists of 5 levels of treatment and four replications (4 blocks). Applied research in the area of 2500 m2 chili. 5 levels of treatment are: A = with insecticide mahogany 75 cc / 14 l of water., B = with insecticide mahogany 100 cc / 14 l of water, C = with insecticide mahogany 200 cc / 14 l of water, D = with insecticide mahogany 150 cc / 14 l of water, E = with chemical insecticides Sidabas 500 SC. The results showed that treatment with insecticide mahogany D 150 cc / 14 liters of water, produces cure rates of disease, most notably curly 91.41% and yield the greatest 174 kg. E treatment with chemical insecticides sidabas 500 SC provides 64.84% cure rate and yield 127 kg. This means insecticide mahogany 150 cc / 14 liters of water is more effective than sidabas 500 SC. Abstract

Results of the classification of living beings learning reflection data showed 54 % of students pass the study and 45 % of students have not been thoroughly studied, so that the necessary process of learning improvement. The purpose of this study improve learning achievement IPA material classification of living things. The study design using classroom action research (PTK) through the application of math matching method. Research conducted at SMPN 2 Kwadungan Ngawi, research subjects students of class VII A numbered 24 students, Data collection techniques with methods of observation and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed , the application of math matching methods improve learning achievement, the first cycle value completeness 63 %, 71 % second cycle and third cycle 92 %, the average value of the first cycle class 72.4, 72.4 second cycle, and the cycle III 78. Abstract

Education in 21st century is very relevant to the purpose of education in Indonesia. Global era and the integration of technology in education, helped accelerate the synergy of knowledge across disciplines, thus giving birth to a new field. Learning aimed at creating an atmosphere of active, critical, analytical, and creative in solving problems through the development of thinking skills. Science (biology) essentially contains four elements are scientific processes, the product (scientific knowledge), attitudes (scientific attitudes), and technology. Processes in science implies manner or scientific activity for natural phenomena to describe the product obtained in the form of science facts, principles, laws, or theories. Science (biology) containing six elements are active learning, discovery / inquiry activity approach, scientific literacy, constructivism, science, technology, and society, and the existence of truth.There are two things that can be done by LPTK in optimizing the implementation of Curriculum 2013 are: 1) Strengthening understanding of the biology teacher candidates about the nature and characteristics of biology teaching; 2) Creating an academic situation so that prospective biology teachers have insight and knowledge about the importance of the role of science (biology) and as well as the direction of learning in the future. Abstract

The purpose of this action research is to improve the competence learning material digestive system in class VIII G of SMP Negeri 2 Paron with scientific learning through the medium of the puzzle. Research carried out for 3 months starting in September 2014 to November 2014. The subject of this class action research was a number of 29 students. Data collection was performed by the method of observation and testing methods. Observation is aimed at three competencies: (1) the competence of attitude, (2) the competence of knowledge, (3) skills competency. The results showed that students learning competence has increased, ie if the initial reflection completeness reached 59% in the first cycle increased to 69% and in the second cycle increased to 86%. Figures incompleteess decreased if the initial reflection of 41% then the first cycle decreased to 31% and the second cycle decreased to 14%. On average class increased if the initial reflection at 69 then the first cycle increased to 71 and the second cycle increased to 75. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the abundance of phytoplankton in the waters of the inlet and outlet Reservoirs Bening. Hamlet Village Petung Pajaran Saradan District of Madison County as well as exploit some results of research on the abundance of phytoplankton as a medium of learning materials were shaped poster on the types of phytoplankton. This study uses the exploratory research is directly done by observing and identifying body shapes, locomotor and body color that is in the phytoplankton Reservoir Bening in the inlet and outlet by taking samples at two points each station with three replications samples. Phytoplankton that have been filtered observed under the microscope and then identified the species and grade as well as documented. Calculated amount of phytoplankton abundance at each inlet and outlet areas. The results showed that the abundance of phytoplankton in the inlet and outlet. Phytoplankton abundance in the inlet area of the Month December to February respectively is 330 ind/l, 286.291 ind/l, and 258.892 ind/l, while the abundance of phytoplankton in the area of the outlet of the Month December to February respectively Tutut 130.844 ind/l, 112.200 ind/l, and 98.430 ind/l. Phytoplankton species in the Reservoir Bening Saradan found 12 species of phytoplankton that is, Synedra ulna, Tetragonodium verum, Synedra acus, Surirella elegans, Ceratium, Surirella sp, Pediastrum simplex, Chlorocytrium lemnae, Nitzia palea, Crucigenia rectangularis, grevillei Navicula, Scenedesmus acumatus. Phytoplankton abundance is the most ubiquitous class Bacillariophyceae species Synedra acus. Keywords: phytoplankton, abundance, inlet and outlet
